Stirrup
Stirrup is an unofficial mobile application specifically designed for Stirling University students. It is a portable toolkit containing student essentials such as live bus times, a digital library card, links to important apps and the student portal. The task was to create visuals for Stirrup which would be used for advertisement on app stores, online and around the university.
Using the official colour swatches of Stirling University, 'Canvas' and 'First Bus', I created bold and colourful graphics that were consistent with the developer's branding and style. The visuals are modern and simple, yet eye-catching in the form of posters and app store screenshots. As per the app store requirements, I created mock-ups of the app on iPhone XS Max and iPhone 7 plus, and also created an advertising banner for Stirrup on the google play store. The poster designs were made with the intention of being displayed around the university. They feature bold and relatable quotes in speechbubbles to grab the attention of the students, along with the relevant app store advertising badges.
